we all are on a constant journey of change and growth, and it can be difficult in the moment to notice how much you’ll miss it once it passes.

I want to provide a time for you and your loved ones to savor in each other’s presence, and capture portraits of you as you are.

the best way i can do this is by meeting your family where you’re at, and spending some hours together where you’re given the space simply to be with one another..


A session will look something like this:

together we will dream of what your session could look like.

• what place(s) is or feels like home to you?
  

• what activities do you enjoy doing together?
  maybe it’s cooking, taking a walk, lounging around. there’s no right or wrong.
  

• what do you want to remember?
  maybe it’s your babies fingers latching yours, or the look your child gives that reminds you of yourself and those who came before you. maybe you just want to be in the photos with everyone else for a change.
  
  

I will help us decide on the day and timeframe based on your schedule, lighting, and the activities we have planned.


when I arrive on the day of the session, i will start by taking some time fitting into the fold. Maybe this means we take a tour of the space, or your little one(s) can show me something that they love. naturally, we’ll start moving into photographing with ease- bear in mind this does not mean that things need to feel calm or be “perfection”- just comfortable being yourselves with me nearby.


throughout our time together, I will photograph on both film and digital cameras, focusing on your candid interactions, details, and moments for gently guided portraiture.

my hope is that we’ll find laughter, playfulness, moments of closeness, and ease, but mostly that we’ll be open to whatever comes. in the end, we’ll capture beautifully honest, and tender photographs that feel instantly nostalgic.
